Athenex Announces Two China Deals Plus $100M Raise

Athenex Inc. (NASDAQ:ATNX) entered into a pair of deals with Chinese partners on a newsy July 2 that also saw the biotech raise $100 million in equity and debt.

The company said it is forming a JV, Axis Therapeutics Ltd., with the Xiangxue Life Sciences unit of Xiangxue Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (SZSE:300147).
