BioCryst, Idera merging

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:BCRX) said Jan. 22 it will merge with Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:IDRA) to form a company focused on rare diseases. The combined company will be renamed when the merger closes, which is expected in 2Q18.
Idera CEO Vincent Milano will be CEO of the combined company and BioCryst Chairman Robert Ingram will be chairman. BioCryst CEO Jon Stonehouse will serve on the merged company’s board. The company will be headquartered at Idera's current location in Exton, Pa...
