Inivata and Levine Cancer Center form IKAN liquid biopsy network

Inivata Ltd. (Cambridge, U.K.) and the Levine Cancer Institute, part of the Carolinas HealthCare System (Charlotte, N.C.), formed the Inivata Knowledge Accumulation Network (IKAN). Inivata spokesperson Karen Chandler-Smith told BioCentury the network of cancer centers will use Inivata's InVision circulating tumor DNA liquid biopsy platform "to assess actionable alterations in solid tumors."

Chandler-Smith said IKAN will explore InVision's use in tumor types including lung, breast and colon for late stage stratification, monitoring of minimal residual disease and mechanisms of resistance and selection for immunotherapy. Levine will supply blood marker assays for the collaboration...
