Astellas partners with TB Alliance to develop new TB drugs

Astellas Pharma Inc. (Tokyo:4503) partnered with non-profit organization Global Alliance for TB Drug Development to identify new drugs to treat tuberculosis (TB). Astellas will provide its original compound library, which TB Alliance will screen for compounds that could treat TB. The Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (GHIT Fund) will provide undisclosed funding for the collaboration. ...
