Clinigen proposes aquisition of Quantum

Preclinical services company Quantum Pharma plc (LSE:QP.) confirmed on Aug. 16 it received an unsolicited bid from managed access company Clinigen Group plc (LSE:CLIN) to acquire Quantum for a combination of Clinigen stock and cash. Quantum said the bid does not include financial terms; those terms would be discussed if and when Clinigen accepts the bid.

Quantum's stock began moving on Aug. 15 when it closed up 6.75p (12%) to 65p. The following day the stock gained 8p (12%) to 73p. ...
