Roche, German Cancer Research Center, Heidelberg University Hospital deal

The cancer center and the hospital granted Roche's Ventana Medical Systems Inc. tissue diagnostic unit exclusive, worldwide rights to commercialize an immunohistochemistry antibody assay to detect BRAF V600E mutations. Ventana expects to launch the test next year. Roche's Spring Bioscience Inc. subsidiary already markets the test for research use only. Details were not disclosed. ...
