CryoLife, Hemosphere deal

CryoLife acquired medical device company Hemosphere for $17 million in cash, plus up to $4.5 million in milestones. The deal, which CryoLife said will reposition its portfolio with higher-growth cardiac and vascular surgery medical devices, is expected to close this month. Hemosphere's marketed products include the Hemodialysis Reliable Outflow (HeRO) Graft, a graft-based device for end-stage renal disease (ESRD) hemodialysis patients with limited access options and central venous obstruction. ...
