Zogenix, Battelle deal

Zogenix signed a letter of intent with CRO, laboratory management and technology commercialization company Battelle to co-market Zogenix's DosePro needle-free drug delivery technology. DosePro uses compressed gas to deliver liquid formulations subcutaneously. Upon out-licensing of the technology, Battelle would have the option to co-develop second-generation DosePro, for which Zogenix has completed prototype design, to deliver high-dose biological products.
