Viral Genetics, University of Colorado deal

Viral Genetics formed a subsidiary, V-Clip Pharmaceuticals Inc., to obtain exclusive, worldwide rights to the university's IP related to diagnosis and treatment of HIV, HCV and herpes simplex virus (HSV). Viral Genetics owns 44% of V-Clip, the university owns 6%, and the subsidiary's scientific founders own the remaining 50%. The university will receive annual research funding of $100,000 for four years and is eligible for milestones and royalties. ...
