Boston Bio, SeraCare deal

SRLS completed its previously announced purchase of BBII's BBI Diagnostics and BBI Biotech Research Laboratories divisions for $30 million in cash (see BioCentury, April 26). As a result of the deal, BBII subsequently changed its name to Pressure BioSciences Inc. and plans to change its NASDAQ ticker to "PBIO" to reflect its new focus on its Pressure Cycling Technology.
