Algene, McGill University, Universite Laval deal

AGN acquired exclusive rights to intellectual property covering several disease-associated genes from the two universities in exchange for 14 million AGN shares. AGN received rights from McGill University to a pending U.S. patent covering the therapeutic applications of a gene involved in the regulation of body fat and exclusive rights to three pending U.S. patents from Universite Laval that cover a series of genes associated with osteoporosis and breast cancer. ...
