Colonic-release linaclotide: Phase IIb started

Ironwood and Allergan began a double-blind, double-dummy, placebo-controlled Phase IIb trial to compare 2 oral colonic-release formulations of linaclotide ( CR1 and CR2) once daily for 12 weeks vs. 290 ug oral linaclotide in up to 520 adults patients.
