StemCells said it began dosing in the second of 3 cohorts in an open-label Phase I/II trial evaluating HuCNS-SC in 12 SCI patients. The second cohort will enroll 4 patients with incomplete neurological injury classified as American Spinal Injury Association Impairment Scale (AIS) level B, while the third cohort will enroll 4 patients classified as AIS level C.
