HPV testing improves cervical intraepithelial neoplasia detection vs. liquid-based cytology

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) published data from a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association suggesting that primary HPV-based screening detects cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) earlier and more accurately than the more widely used liquid-based cytology (LBC) method.
