Hemopurifier: Additional data

Preliminary data from the first 9 patients with HCV genotype 1 infection in the Indian Extract-1 study showed that treatment with Hemopurifier therapy during the first 3 days of SOC (peginterferon and ribavirin) led to reduction in HCV RNA levels of 99.96% from baseline to day 3 in 2 patients with high baseline viral loads of 5.8 million and 8.8 million IU/mL, respectively. In a patient with a moderate baseline viral load of 1.3 million IU/mL, Hemopurifier led to a 95.9% HCV RNA reduction at day 3. Additionally, Aethlon said that a single 6-hour treatment with Hemopurifier captured 300 billion HCV copies. The trial plans to enroll at total of 30 patients. ...
