Taxus Liberte: Additional data

Additional data from the ATLAS Long Lesion study showed that the Taxus Liberte Long Stent significantly reduced the rate of target-vessel myocardial infarction (MI) (2.6% vs. 12.9%, p=0.02) and target-vessel non-Q-wave MI (2.6% vs. 11.3%, p=0.03) at 4 years vs. Taxus Express. Rates of target lesion revascularization (TLR), major adverse cardiac events, and stent thrombosis were similar between treatment arms.
