ZD0473: Phase I

Preliminary data from 27 patients showed that ZD0473 did not have serious toxicities that are associated with cisplatin. But dose-limiting thrombocytopenia was seen at 130 mg/m2 in patients who had been pretreated with chemotherapy. Partial response was seen in an ovarian cancer patient and disease stabilization was seen in patients with ovarian, head and neck and non-small cell lung cancers.
