How altering receptor motifs in CAR Ts could lead to more efficient signaling

As researchers explore next-generation CARs in cancer, one strategy is to tinker with the receptors’ modular components. A Science Signaling paper suggests that altering the number of ITAM repeats in the intracellular domains of a CAR could increase signaling efficiency and make the therapy more effective.
