By combining advances in cloud technology and the ever-increasing amounts of genetic information, WuXi NextCode has made the Simons Simplex Collection, a database for researchers and clinicians containing five years' worth of genomic data collected from over 2,500 families with an autistic child, available for open access online.

The database arose through a collaboration between WuXi and the Simons Foundation's Autism Research Initiative, in which the foundation collected data from multiple groups of researchers and WuXi collated and integrated it using its cloud-based platform. ...
