Proteome atlas

It's taken over a decade to collect the data, but a group of Swedish researchers has developed the Human Protein Atlas, a tissue-based map of the human proteome that describes where every protein is expressed down to the level of single cells. Applications of the map range from basic and disease biology to drug design, and the hope is that it can also help predict or explain off-target toxicity.
