Draft bill on patent eligibility could revitalize diagnostics

A bipartisan, bicameral draft bill released on Wednesday would solve a key problem with patent law that has crippled the diagnostics industry, but opposition from other industries is likely.

The draft bill was released by Sens. Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) along with Reps.
