President's Cancer Panel releases affordability report

In a report issued Tuesday, the President’s Cancer Panel outlined guiding principles and action items to align cancer drugs’ pricing with their value.

The independent group, which monitors the National Cancer Program, called for value-based cancer drug pricing, affordable access for all patients, investment in research and stimulation of generic and biosimilar competition.
