FDA investigating misuse, abuse of gabapentinoids

FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb said Thursday that the agency is investigating potential misuse and abuse of gabapentinoids. Gabapentinoids are approved to treat postherpetic neuralgia, fibromyalgia, partial onset seizures, and neuropathic pain associated with diabetes or spinal cord injuries.
