U.K. unveils life sciences sector deal

The U.K. outlined initial details of its multibillion pound life sciences deal on Wednesday. The government teased the sector deal when it published its Industrial Strategy white paper on Nov. 27 (see BioCentury Extra, Nov. 27).

The deal outlines key priorities for U.K.'s life sciences that are aligned with John Bell's industry recommendations for building a strong life sciences sector in the wake of Brexit, as published in the Life Sciences Industrial Strategy report in August.
