Icahn steps down as Trump advisor

Activist investor Carl Icahn is stepping down as a regulatory reform "special advisor" to President Trump.

In a statement to Trump on Friday, Icahn wrote that while he "never had a formal position," he decided to bow out because he "did not want partisan bickering about my role to in any way cloud [Trump's] administration."
