FDA targeting anticompetitive generics practices

In a blog post Wednesday, FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb said the agency plans to spur generic drug competition by targeting anticompetitive practices. At a public meeting on July 18, Gottlieb said the agency would seek community input on how companies misuse FDA rules or otherwise act to impede development of and access to new generics.
