Oncorus raises $79.5M series B with eye on global development

Nearly half a dozen Korean investment groups joined Oncorus' $79.5 million series B round as part of the company's long-range plan to take its oncolytic virus technology global.

Cowen Healthcare Investments and Perceptive Advisors led the round, which included fellow new investors Surveyor Capital, Sphera Funds and five Korean firms: Shinhan Investment-Private Equity, UTC Investment, QUAD Investment Management, IMM Investment and SV Investment Corp.
