Kronos raises seed round, names Bischofberger CEO

Cancer company Kronos Bio Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.) raised $18 million in seed financing Wednesday and hired Norbert Bischofberger as president and CEO. Bischofberger was EVP of R&D and CSO of Gilead Sciences Inc. (NASDAQ:GILD) until April.
Two River led the round. That firm's partner and chairman, Arie Belldegrun, was chairman, president and CEO of Kite Pharma Inc. prior to its sale to Gilead last year. He is Kronos' chairman...
