MMRF looks to apply CoMMpass data

The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) launched a request for applications (RFA) seeking projects that would use data from the foundation's patient-driven, real-world CoMMpass study to identify molecular drivers of early disease progression. The foundation said that over the next three years it will invest $5 million from the MMRF Answer Fund in those projects.

Launched in 2011, CoMMpass is studying 1,000 newly diagnosed, treatment-naïve patients. MMRF is collecting sequential tissue samples to identify how patients' molecular profiles affect clinical progression and treatment response (see BioCentury, Dec. 14, 2015)...
