Magenta raises $50M, strikes pair of deals

Stem cell transplant company Magenta Therapeutics Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.) raised $50 million in an oversubscribed series B round led by GV. The company also announced separate partnerships with Novartis AG (NYSE:NVS; SIX;NOVN) and Be The Match BioTherapies, a subsidiary of the National Marrow Donor Program (Minneapolis, Minn.).
