Human Longevity raises $220M series B

Human Longevity Inc. (San Diego, Calif.) raised $220 million in a series B financing that included Illumina Inc. (NASDAQ:ILMN), Celgene Corp. (NASDAQ:CELG) and GE Ventures. Human Longevity said its series A investors also participated.

J. Craig Venter launched Human Longevity in 2014 with series A support from Illumina, Genting Group CEO KT Lim, DFJ partner Steve Jurvetson, BrainTree founder Bryan Johnson, and Martine Rothblatt, who is CEO of United Therapeutics Corp. (NASDAQ:UTHR) (see BioCentury, March 10, 2014). ...
