Akili raises $30.5M for therapeutic games

Akili Interactive Labs Inc. (Boston, Mass.) raised $30.5 million in a venture round from investors including Jazz Venture Partners, Canepa Advanced Healthcare Fund and PureTech Health plc (LSE:PRTC). Akili is developing mobile software-based treatments for CNS disorders that are designed to function as video games.

The company plans to start a pivotal study of its lead product, called Project: EVO, to treat pediatric ADHD. It expects data next year and hopes to launch the product by YE17. ...
