Constellation raises $55M in mezzanine round

Epigenetics company Constellation Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.) raised $55 million in a mezzanine round co-led by Topspin Partners and an undisclosed fund. Also participating were Third Rock Ventures, The Column Group, Venrock and SR One.

CEO Keith Dionne told BioCentury the company is "certainly evaluating the public markets, and if appropriate, we're preparing ourselves to be ready for them." He declined to give a specific timeline for a planned IPO. ...
