Drug delivery play Corium files for IPO

Corium International Inc. (Menlo Park, Calif.) filed to raise up to $50 million in an IPO on NASDAQ underwritten by Jefferies; Leerink; Needham; and FBR. Corium developed two transdermal drug delivery technologies: MicroCor, a biodegradable microstructure patch technology to deliver biologics; and Corplex, an adhesive system and patch technology to deliver small molecules.
