Northwest Biotherapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:NWBO) raised $23.5 million through the sale of 4.9 million units at $4.80 in a follow-on underwritten by Oppenheimer. Each unit comprises a share and a five-year warrant to purchase 0.5 shares, with each whole warrant exercisable at $6. Northwest proposed the offering late Tuesday, when its share price was $6.66.
