Cancer play Calithera raises $35M

Calithera Biosciences Inc. (South San Francisco, Calif.) raised $35 million in a series D round led by new investor Adage Capital Partners. New investors the Longwood Fund and two undisclosed institutional investors also participated, along with existing investors Morgenthaler Ventures; Advanced Technology Ventures; and Delphi Ventures.
