Aileron closes $12M in second tranche of series D

Aileron Therapeutics Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.) closed $12 million in the second tranche of a $42 million series D round. Existing investors Apple Tree Partners; Excel Venture Management; Lilly Ventures; Novartis Venture Funds; Roche Venture Fund; and SR One participated.
