AtheroGenics, Pharsight sell IPOs

AGIX and PHST raised a total of $78 million in their IPOs. AGIX raised $48 million in an IPO of 6 million shares at $8. The offering, which has a 900,000-share overallotment, was underwritten by Chase H&Q; Adams Harkness; and AG Edwards. On July 13, the company filed to sell 6 million shares at $11-$13, after originally filing on February 25 to raise up to $100 million. AGIX develops and markets small molecule therapeutics to treat chronic inflammatory diseases, such as atherosclerosis, asthma and arthritis. AGIX was up $0.25 to $8.25 on Wednesday. ...
