Management tracks: ARM, Rewind, Exscientia

The Alliance for Regenerative Medicine, an advocacy organization for regenerative medicines including cell and gene therapies, appointed Matthew Patterson as chairman for 2019. The group also named Emile Nuwaysir as vice chairman, Amy Butler as secretary and Jeffrey Walsh as treasurer.

Patterson founded and is CEO of rare disease gene therapy company Audentes Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:BOLD). Nuwaysir is president and CEO of pluripotent stem cell company BlueRock Therapeutics (Cambridge, Mass.). Butler is VP general manager of cell biology at tools and services company Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (NYSE:TMO). Walsh is chief financial and strategy officer for bluebird bio Inc. (NASDAQ:BLUE), which is developing gene and T cell therapies for severe genetic diseases...
