BayHelix elects Shi as chair

BayHelix Group elected board member Victor Shi as chair. He is founding Asia Pacific president of Qiagen N.V. (Xetra:QIA; NASDAQ:QGEN) and general partner at Serica Capital.

Shi's experience spans life science R&D, sales and marketing, business development and investing. His previous roles include managing partner at Aura Partners and cancer research scientist at Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE:MRK).
