NicOx declines option to acquire Altacor

NicOx S.A. (Euronext:COX) said its board of directors unanimously decided not to exercise an option to acquire the 88.2% of ophthalmic company Altacor Ltd. (Cambridge, U.K.) it does not already own. NicOx said the board determined that the full acquisition was not in the company's best interest.
