Solicitor General declines to appeal Angiomax decision

(NASDAQ:MDCO) gained $1.44 (12%) to $13.17 on Thursday after the U.S. Solicitor General declined to appeal a district court decision requiring the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) to consider an application for a patent term extension for anticoagulant Angiomax bivalirudin as timely filed.
