Atonomics acquires a NeuroSearch subsidiary

Diagnostic company Atonomics (Copenhagen, Denmark) will acquire all the shares of NeuroSearch's Azign Bioscience subsidiary. As part of the deal, NeuroSearch (CSE:NEUR) will retain exclusive rights to any remaining drug discovery technologies, while Atonomics will have exclusive rights to the same technologies for diagnostics.

Azign's technologies include DNA microarray and restriction site differential displays for use in gene expression research, as well as FLAPlow RNA technology, a method for making arrays using very small tissue samples. NEUR acquired Azign in 2001 for DKK29 million ($3.5 million). ...
