AbbVie’s Pappalardo joins Fresenius as CMO for North America

Brandee Pappalardo became SVP and CMO for North America at Fresenius Kabi AG, a Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA (Xetra:FRE; OTCQX:FSNUY) company. Pappalardo joins from AbbVie Inc. (NYSE:ABBV), where she held senior roles for 16 years, most recently as VP of immunology, U.S. medical affairs.

Veru Inc. (NASDAQ:VERU) hired Joel Batten as EVP and head of its U.S. infectious disease franchise, effective May 23. Batten was head of the respiratory syncytial virus franchise at Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (SSE:SOBI) North America. Veru is developing therapies for COVID-19 and viral infections and for the management of breast and prostate cancers. ...
