Ziopharm CEO stepping down; plus moves at ChemoCentryx, ReForm, Monte Rosa and Enterin

Laurence Cooper is stepping down as CEO and a director of immuno-oncology company play Ziopharm Oncology Inc. (NASDAQ:ZIOP). Heidi Hagen, a director, will become interim CEO, and KPCB China’s James Huang will add “executive” to his chairman title. A search for a permanent CEO is under way.

Tausif “Tosh” Butt joined autoimmune and inflammatory disorders company  ChemoCentryx Inc. (NASDAQ:CCXI) as EVP and COO. Butt was SVP of Latin America at AstraZeneca plc (LSE:AZN; NASDAQ:AZN).
