Foresite raises nearly $1B to back data science plays with fifth fund, incubator

With $969 million raised across two new funds, Foresite Capital plans to continue putting its money to work in data-driven healthcare companies.

Foresite Capital Fund V and Foresite Capital Opportunity Fund V will invest in the same 20-30 opportunities across all stages of development; the opportunity fund provides the firm with the flexibility to increase its weight in different investments.
