President Biden nominated Chiquita Brooks-LaSure as CMS administrator. Brooks-LaSure previously served under the Obama administration as deputy director for policy at CMS’ Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight and as director of coverage policy at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. She is currently managing director at Manatt Health.
