Last-minute deal gives U.K. regulatory agency freedom, scientists seat at EU research table

With a thirteenth hour trade agreement putting the four-year-long Brexit ordeal in the rearview mirror, the U.K. now has the independence to cut a new path as a regulatory innovator while its scientists retain access to Europe’s largest research and innovation program.
