RNA pioneer Crooke readies to look beyond Ionis

Another member of biotech’s founding generation is preparing to move on. Ionis Executive Chairman Stanley Crooke, who founded Ionis as Isis in 1989 and over the next three decades was unyielding in his decidation to making antisense work, will retire in June.
