Samsung Biologics promoted EVP John Rim to president and CEO. Before joining the South Korean company in 2018, Rim worked for Roche (SIX:ROG; OTCQX:RHHBY) and its Genentech Inc. unit for 14 years in senior global leadership roles in technical operations, product development and R&D in Europe and the U.S.
Sarepta Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:SRPT) promoted SVP Ian Estepan, who headed up strategy and IR, to EVP and CFO and SVP of Gene Therapy Louise Rodino-Klapac to EVP and CSO. In other changes, Dallan Murray dropped the “interim” from his chief commercial officer title, and EVP and General Counsel Ty Howton will retire next quarter.
